### Definition

A structured plan connecting specific operational investments to measurable improvements in OLR, documentation quality, and process efficiency, typically over a 12-36 month horizon, used by PE-backed companies to demonstrate operational value creation between investment and exit.

A value creation plan without an operational component is primarily a commercial projection. 

Adding operational investments with measurable efficiency outcomes converts abstract growth intentions into a plan that a financial buyer can evaluate and assign a premium to.

- Your company has a commercial growth plan but no operational investment roadmap alongside it.
- Operational improvements in the last year can't be linked to a measurable efficiency or cost change.
- No operational component exists in your current investor or board presentation of forward-looking value creation.
