These Terms of Service govern your use of theheadroomhq.com and all products and services offered by Headroom HQ, including the Headroom HQ newsletter, the HQ Vault subscription, and the Headroom HQ template and course library.

By visiting theheadroomhq.com, subscribing to the newsletter, purchasing a HQ Vault monthly or annual subscription, or purchasing any template or course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or its services.

Headroom HQ is operated by Mr. Viral Doshi, based in India. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to the operator of Headroom HQ.

1. THE WEBSITE AND FREE CONTENT

1.1 Use of the Website

You may access and read theheadroomhq.com and all publicly available content for personal and professional use. "Personal and professional use" means reading, saving, and applying the frameworks and information in your own work and at your own organization.

You may not:

Reproduce, republish, or redistribute any article, framework, case study, or other content from theheadroomhq.com on another website, publication, newsletter, or platform without express written permission from Headroom HQ, except as permitted under Section 1.2.

Use any Headroom HQ content to create a competing publication, template library, or assessment product without express written permission.

Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from theheadroomhq.com using automated tools.

Use any Headroom HQ content to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models without express written permission from Headroom HQ.

1.2 Permitted Sharing

You may share links to individual articles, assessments, or pages on theheadroomhq.com on social media, in email, or in internal company communications, provided the link points to the original URL on theheadroomhq.com, and no content is reproduced in full.

You may quote brief excerpts from Headroom HQ content (up to 150 words per excerpt) in your own written materials, provided the excerpt is clearly attributed to "Headroom HQ" with a link to the original article.

1.3 Newsletter Content

The Headroom HQ newsletter is delivered by email to subscribers. Each issue of the newsletter is simultaneously published on theheadroomhq.com. The terms for website content in Section 1.1 apply equally to newsletter content.

2. THE HQ SCORE

The HQ Score is a proprietary operational maturity assessment developed by Headroom HQ. Your HQ Score result is provided for informational and self-assessment purposes only.

The HQ Score is not an audit. It is not a certification. It does not constitute a professional assessment of your organization's operations. The score is generated from your self-reported responses and should be interpreted accordingly.

Headroom HQ makes no warranty that your HQ Score accurately reflects your organization's actual operational maturity and is not liable for any business decisions made in reliance on the score.

The aggregate HQ Score data contributes to the Headroom HQ Benchmark dataset under the terms described in the Privacy Policy.

3. HQ VAULT SUBSCRIPTION

3.1 What the HQ Vault Subscription Is

The HQ Vault monthly and annual subscription are recurring subscriptions to the Headroom HQ Vault content library, hosted on Systeme.io. Monthly subscribers receive access to HQ Vault for a month. Annual subscribers receive access to HQ Vault for a year.

The HQ Vault is a content subscription product. It is not a software subscription, a coaching program, or a course program.

3.2 What the HQ Vault Subscription Is Not

The HQ Vault Subscription does not provide the following:

Unlimited or perpetual access. Your access ends at the expiry of your plan validity.

Access to templates. Templates are separate products sold through the Gumroad HQ store. HQ Vault access does not include free access to templates unless explicitly stated in a specific HQ Vault offer.

Transfer rights. Your HQ Vault access is personal to you. You may not share your Systeme.io login credentials with colleagues, resell your HQ Vault membership, or otherwise transfer your HQ Vault access to another person.

A refund after the refund window expires. Refunds are available within the applicable guarantee window described in Section 3.4. No refunds are available after the guarantee window closes.

3.3 Content Availability

Headroom HQ publishes new HQ Vault content on a scheduled basis. We do not guarantee the publication of any specific number of content pieces within any access period. The scheduled editorial calendar is provided as a guide, not a contractual commitment.

We reserve the right to modify, restructure, or remove content from the HQ Vault at any time. If a material portion of the HQ Vault content library is removed during an active access period, we will offer a proportionate refund or extension of the access period.

3.4 Refund Policy for HQ Vault Access

Monthly plan ($19): Seven-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. To request a refund, email support@theheadroomhq.com within seven calendar days of your purchase date of the month.

Include your Systeme.io email address and purchase date in your message. The refund will not be processed for the previous months and is only applicable for the month, in which the monthly plan is cancelled.

Annual plan ($199): Thirty-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. To request a refund, email support@theheadroomhq.com within thirty calendar days of your purchase date.

No partial refunds. Refunds are issued for the full purchase amount only. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused portions of an access period.

Processing time: Refunds are processed within five business days of approval through the original payment method (PayPal).

3.5 Access Period Expiry and Renewal

Your HQ Vault subscription does not expire automatically. You will receive renewal reminder emails before 14 days and 1 day before your plan expiry.

Headroom HQ is not liable for any access interruption that results from your failure to renew before your plan validity expires.

4. TEMPLATES, COURSES, AND DIGITAL PRODUCTS

4.1 License to Use

When you purchase a template, course, or other digital product from the Headroom HQ store on Gumroad, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own personal and professional purposes, including use within your own organization.

You may:

Use any purchased template within your organization for any business purpose,
including sharing it with members of your team who work at the same organization.

Modify purchased templates to suit your organization's specific requirements.

You may not:

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any purchased template or course to third parties outside your organization.

Use any purchased template or course to create a competing template product or
course for sale or distribution.

Remove or obscure Headroom HQ branding or attribution from any purchased template.

4.2 Refund Policy for Digital Products

All digital product purchases are final once the respective product or template link has been delivered. If you experience a technical problem with delivery — the Gumroad link does not work, the Notion duplicate link does not function, or the Google Sheets template contains errors that prevent it from functioning as described, contact support@theheadroomhq.com within seven days of purchase, and we will resolve the issue.

We do not issue refunds because a product was "not what you expected" if the product description accurately described the content and format. Read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

4.3 Product Updates

Headroom HQ may update templates and courses after purchase to correct errors, add content, or update regulatory references. Updated versions are made available to purchasers at no additional charge. We will notify purchasers of material updates by email to the address used at the time of purchase.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 Content Ownership

All content published on theheadroomhq.com, distributed through the Headroom HQ newsletter, delivered in the HQ Vault, or sold as a product through the Gumroad store is the intellectual property of Headroom HQ and its operator.

"Content" includes but is not limited to: editorial frameworks, case studies, operational models, the HQ Score methodology, HQ benchmark data, templates, courses, email sequences, the glossary, the Failure Archive, the HQ Library, and all written, visual, and audio content produced under the Headroom HQ name.

5.2 The Fictional Universe

The following elements of Headroom HQ's editorial universe are proprietary intellectual property of Headroom HQ:

The six fictional companies: Brightfield Commerce, Anchor Growth Partners, Meridian Professional Group, Vantage Freight Co., Clearfield Partners, and Northgate Services Group, including their names, described characteristics, financial profiles, and operational histories as portrayed in Headroom HQ content.

The characters associated with these companies: Maya Chen, Marcus Webb, James Liu, Lisa Rodriguez, Robert Adeyemi, Nadia Osei, Raj Mehta, Sonia Mehta, Tom Blackwell, Diana Reyes, Paul Stevens, Kevin Park, and all other named characters appearing in Headroom HQ content.

The Headroom Quotient (HQ Score) methodology, the four operational maturity stage names (Builder, Systematizer, Delegator, and Strategist), and the 10 operational dimension framework as developed and applied by Headroom HQ.

You may not use any element of the Headroom HQ fictional universe in any publication, product, marketing material, or other work without express written permission.

5.3 Trademarks

"Headroom HQ," "HQ Score" and "Headroom Quotient" are trademarks of Headroom HQ.

6. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE

Headroom HQ participates in affiliate programmes for some products and services
linked from the website and newsletter. When you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase, Headroom HQ may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

All affiliate links on the website are marked with [A]. All newsletter issues that contain affiliate links include a disclosure statement.

Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial content. No third party pays
to be included in Headroom HQ content, and no product receives positive coverage
in exchange for an affiliate arrangement.

7. SPONSORSHIP DISCLOSURE

Headroom HQ may accept commercial sponsorships for specific content formats
(to be specified when applicable). All sponsored content will be clearly labeled
"Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" and will be visually distinct from editorial
content.

Headroom HQ does not accept sponsorships for the Tuesday Issues or the Annual HQ Benchmark Report. These editorial products are entirely independent of commercial relationships.

8. DISCLAIMER — NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

All content published by Headroom HQ including newsletter issues, HQ Vault content, the HQ Library, glossary entries, the Failure Archive, templates, and courses is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing in any Headroom HQ content constitutes or should be construed as:

Legal advice. Do not act on any legally oriented content in Headroom HQ without consulting a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.

Financial advice. Do not make investment, financing, or financial planning decisions based on Headroom HQ content without consulting a qualified financial advisor.

Accounting or tax advice. Do not rely on any figures, examples, or frameworks
in Headroom HQ content for tax or accounting purposes without consulting
a qualified accountant.

HR or employment law advice. Employment law varies significantly by jurisdiction. Any content related to hiring, compensation, or team management should be reviewed against the laws applicable in your
specific jurisdiction.

Regulatory compliance advice. References to GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, NIS2, DORA, or other regulations in Headroom HQ content are provided for general educational context only. Compliance decisions must be made with qualified legal counsel.

Headroom HQ makes every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of published content at the time of publication. However, operational standards, market data, and regulations change over time. We do not represent that any content remains accurate after its publication date without review.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Headroom HQ and its
operator are not liable for the following:

Any business decision made in reliance on Headroom HQ content.

Any loss of revenue, profit, data, or business opportunity arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, the newsletter, the HQ Vault, or any template
or course.

Any inaccuracy in the content of any Headroom HQ publication, template, or course.

Any temporary unavailability of the website, the newsletter, the HQ Vault, or the template store.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Headroom HQ products or services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Gujarat, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to the following:

For EU and UK residents, these Terms do not remove any rights you have under
applicable EU or UK consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract.
If you are an EU resident and have a dispute with Headroom HQ, you may also
use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

For California residents, nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under California consumer protection law.

We encourage all disputes to be resolved first by direct communication. If you have a problem with any Headroom HQ product or service, email us at support@theheadroomhq.com before initiating any formal dispute process. Most issues are resolved within 3 business days of contact.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be
communicated by a notice in the Headroom HQ newsletter at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of theheadroomhq.com or any Headroom HQ product or service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
